Ingredients :
- 5 - 6 medium potatoes
- 2 - 3 tablespoons of salted butter
- 1 teaspoon basil, parsley, oregano, marjoram, chives, garlic powder
- to taste salt, pepper
- Milk (cream or milk substitute like cashew milk) added slowly, approximately 1 cup
- 1 Cup grated parmesan
Steps:
- Peel the potato if desired.
- Cut the potatoes into quarters for faster cooking.
- In a pot, add the potato and cover with cold salted water.
- Bring to a boil then cook until fork tender.
- Strain the potato, then put it back in the same pot to retain as much heat as possible.
- Mash the potato with the butter, then add the spices and the milk, mashing until the desired texture is achieved, adding more milk if necessary.
- Add the parmesan and adjust seasoning to taste.
